WHERE CAN I BUY AN MIK TICKET?
MIK tickets are available through our website. Do not buy tickets from other re-sellers or 3rd party sellers, we cannot guarantee these tickets will be genuine or have not been resold multiple times. For any other ticket enquiries www.kaboodle.co.uk
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY E-TICKET?
Your tickets will be emailed to you 7 days before the festival.

IF I BOUGHT MORE THAN ONE TICKET, DO I NEED TO ADD THE NAME TO THE SECOND TICKET HOLDER?
No. it’s fine.
CAN I ONLY GET INTO THE VENUE WITH MY E-TICKET?
Audience needs to wear the wristband which is required for entry into the festival. Wristband is void if tampered with or removed.
WHAT IS THE LAST TIME WHEN I COULD GO INTO THE VENUE?
The event takes place on Saturday 30th July and Sunday 31th July.
The festival will open at 12pm and the last entry is 8pm for both days.
IF I LEAVE MIK, WILL I BE ABLE TO GET BACK IN?
No, there’s no re-entry. Please make sure you have everything you need with you.
ON THE DAY WHERE CAN I COLLECT MY LOST PROPERTY?
Lost property will be clearly labelled on site. Please ask the staff at our Welfare point for more information.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED INTO THE EVENT?
No pets are allowed on site. Assistance dogs will be permitted - please let us know if you will be bringing an assistance dog with you firstname.lastname@example.org
WILL I BE ABLE TO BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO MIK?
You cannot take food and drink onto the site. Local food and drink vendors will be available on site.
CAN I BRING ANY ALCOHOL TO THE FESTIVAL?
No, the festival is a non-alcohol event. You cannot bring any liquid related to alcohol to the venue.

At the present time, there are no Covid requirements for entry to live events. The event organizers are constantly monitoring official government guidelines and will post any updates on the event websites. Please check back nearer the time to see if there is any change to the current status.

All ages are welcome.
All children and young persons including the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. This MUST be the parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian of the young person. An adult over the age of 18 can accompany a maximum of 4 young persons.
To make your entry to the site as quick as possible we recommend that you do not bring a bag. However small bags smaller than an A4 piece of paper are permitted if required. Any bags larger than A4 size are prohibited.
The organisers are working closely with the Met Police to make MIK a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Our aim is for a crime and drugs-free event: you should expect to be searched as you enter the site. If found with drugs you will be ejected and may be passed to the police.
New laws around so-called ‘legal-highs’ are now in force and if you are found with Nitrous Oxide or other psychoactive substances you can expect to be passed to the police, as well as being refused access to the event. See www.kaboodle.co.uk for more info.
There is no parking available at Southwark Park, please use public transport to come to the event.

LEAVING THE EVENT
At the end of the event, think of our neighbours around the park and leave quietly. There will be one main exit signposted to Canada Water Station, however the park will still be open to the general public at the end of the event.
Please follow signage and instructions of security who are there to help you.
ON SITE FACILITIES
If you are collecting tickets or have any ticketing queries please visit our on-site box office which will be open from 10:00am-8:00pm
Food and Drink
There are a wide variety of food traders and bars available at the festival. You may not bring your own food and drink to the festival. If you require an exemption for medical reasons, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Toilets are located throughout the site and clearly signposted.
Welfare and First Aid
There is Welfare and First Aid provision on site. Services are open during event hours and all visits are logged and recorded. If you need to store medicine, you can store it in the fridge at the Welfare Tent.
Lost Property is handled at the Welfare Tent. Please head there and speak to our Lost Property Manager if you have lost or found an item.
Free Drinking Water
There are free drinking water points available throughout the event.
Seating, Shade and Wet Weather
This is a full standing show and personal chairs and stools are not permitted, however we do offer some seating around food concession areas within the site so you can enjoy your meal. This is an outdoor event on a greenfield site, so please be aware that ground conditions may be variable. We recommend customers prepare for all weathers.
In an effort to reduce the use of plastic on site the event has implemented a ban on the sale of all single use plastic bottles on site.
There will be no ATMs available on site. These are cashless events and only Card.
Upon arrival at the festival all customers will be subject to a search. Various items are prohibited at the event to keep everyone safe and to allow us to comply with the licensing objectives. The following items are prohibited at the event and we reserve the right to prohibit any other item if in the reasonable opinion of the organisers it could constitute a risk to safety or security.
Food and Drink
You may not bring any food or drink (including alcohol) to the event. Water points are available on site. If you require an exemption on medical grounds please contact us via email@example.com
You may not bring any liquids into the event other than tubes of sun cream and hand sanitiser up to 50ml.
Drugs / Controlled Substances
A drugs search is in operation at the event entrances with search dogs operating, if any drugs are found, you will be ejected and passed to the police. This includes psychoactive substances “legal highs” & Nitrous Oxide
Trolleys & Chairs
Trolleys are prohibited from entering the site. You may not bring personal chairs, stools or other furniture onto the event site.
Only registered assistance dogs are permitted at the event. There is a dedicated assistance dog spending area. More information can be found in our access section (HERE)
Unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment is prohibited.
The event organisers are committed to minimising the impact of the event on the park environment so containers of glitter will be confiscated on arrival. Customers can wear their own glitter when they arrive on site, but cannot bring any bottles / packets of glitter to site.
The following are considered dangerous and are not permitted, our security team reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items:
- Glass in any form (including perfume bottles)
- Cans or metal containers
- Spray cans, Gas cannisters or compressed gas in any container
- Fireworks, flares, smoke cannisters, Chinese lanterns
- Camping stoves or cooking apparatus, explosives
- Hand held communication devices such as radios, radio jammers / scanners
- Firearms, knives or blades, replica weapons of any sort
- Large golf umbrellas
- Stools / camping sticks / chairs or other furniture
- Gazebos or parasols
- Sports equipment
- Flags and banners
- Megaphones, amplification equipment
- Klaxons, airhorns or other similar items capable of making loud noise
- Laser pens
- Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, trolleys, buggies
- Any other item which security may deem hazardous
● We wish to achieve zero waste to landfill for the event.
● In addition to the cans, bar cup and dry mixed recycling – back of house, the event will also be recycling trader food waste, glass, and timber.
● Plastic serve-ware is banned at all food trader stands – all food packaging and cutlery is compostable
● The event has now banned plastic glitter so this cannot be bought on site. Customers can wear their own glitter when they arrive on site, but cannot bring any bottles / packets of glitter to site.
● Community Fund – money is given to local community groups inside the park and those outside the park directly impacted by the event to invest in local ecology, sustainability and social outreach projects.
